Full -Council Meetings

These mandatory meetings are primarily presentation- and discussion-based and are intended to inform the council about ideas, events, issues, etc. that are relevant to the SYC. SYC members are also given the opportunity to respond to or introduce relevant meeting items at these meetings. Attendance at Full-Council Meetings is recorded and considered when evaluating the activity of a member. Meeting notes are also taken during these meetings and are to be sent to the full council within a reasonable time frame following the meeting.

Workshop Meetings

These optional meetings are intended to give members the opportunity to work on their projects with their committees. Although these meetings are optional, they are highly encouraged since they offer an aspect of in-person collaboration with other council members as well as with the Advisers. Attendance at Workshop Meetings is not recorded and is not considered when evaluating the activity of a member. Meeting notes are not taken at these meetings since no new information is formally introduced to the full council.
