Town Beaches

• Georgiaville Beach
• Slacks Pond (Greenlake Beach)

Beach Facilities open annually the end of June.

Both beaches provide bathrooms with handicap accessibility during operating hours.

There are two fresh water beach facilities located in the Town of Smithfield:

Greenlake Beach (Slacks Pond) - Closed for the 2024 season 

Located on Slacks Pond Reservoir, this is a private beach for use by Smithfield residents only. Patrons must show proof of residency to use Greenlake Beach. No boat launching is allowed in this area. Fishing from shore is allowed.

Georgiaville Pond Beach -Closed for the 2024 season

Georgiaville Pond is open to the general public. All beach patrons must purchase a daily beach pass or a seasonal beach pass to use the facility. Day passes are valid for one day and seasonal passes are valid for one beach season. All beach patrons and boaters are required to purchase a sticker for their vehicle, boat, and trailer, for any of these items to be used at Georgiaville Pond. Seasonal passes are valid for two years. Fees apply to all ages and there is no-charge for senior citizens, persons with disabilities, and/or honorably-discharged veterans.
