Town of Smithfield Community Septic System Loan Program

The Town offers this loan assistance program to qualified residents to aide with on-site wastewater treatment (septic) system repairs & replacements.  The intent of the program is aimed to improve the ground & surface water quality within the Town & prevent nutrient & biological loadings that otherwise cause ground & surface water impairments.

Through this program residents can apply for low interest, community subsidized septic system repair/replacement loans to help spread out the costs of financing the purchase of a septic system.
