The program highlights the six (6) core priciples around the managment of stormwater as to what the community must do to remain compliant & meet clean water regulation requirements. Stormwater & management of stormwater are important municipal responsibilities to ensure stormwater as it travels across various ground surfaces returns to our local waterways without pollutants. The aim of the program & the regulations behind stormwater are all geared at reducing surface water impairments so our streams, rivers, ponds, lakes and waterways are fishable, swimable & enjoyable.
The six (6) core elements of a proper stormwater managment program are:

- Construction Site Runoff Controls
- Post Construction Runoff Controls
- Good Housekeeping for Municipal Operations
